Budapest → M3 motorway → Tokaj region → Kerestir. About 225 km, around 2.5 to 3 hours, with a stop on request.
In Kerestir
For transfers, we drop you at the address you name (the ohel, the guesthouse or your accommodation). For day packages, your driver stays with you: to the ohel, to Reb Shayele's house, to the mikveh or to nearby towns, and back whenever you are ready.

Two-day trip
For the days around the yahrzeit or a longer visit: your driver stays in the region overnight and is available the next morning. Day rates as above, plus €95 per night for the car and driver on standby and the driver's accommodation at cost. Quoted in writing on WhatsApp.

Kerestir (Bodrogkeresztúr)
The ohel of Reb Shayele (Rabbi Yeshaya Steiner, 1851 to 1925) on the hill above the village, and his house, today a guesthouse that welcomes visitors as he did.
Ujhel (Sátoraljaújhely)
Resting place of the Yismach Moshe, Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum. About 30 minutes from Kerestir.
Liska (Olaszliszka)
The ohel of the Lisker Rebbe. A short drive from Kerestir.
Mád
One of Hungary's finest restored 18th-century synagogues, in the heart of the Tokaj wine villages.
Tokaj
The old town and synagogue on the Bodrog and Tisza rivers.
Kaliv (Nagykálló)
The Kalover Rebbe's resting place: a separate day toward Debrecen, on request.

Our Shabbos- and kashrus-aware protocol
- No journeys between Friday sunset and Saturday night, or on Yom Tov. For Friday arrivals we plan with a safe margin so you are settled well before Shabbos.
- Quiet ride. No music unless you ask for it; no phone calls by the driver; water in the car.
- Kashrus. We are a car service, not a food service: we do not recommend restaurants, and we will happily drive to any kosher address you name in Budapest or the region.
- Discretion. No photos, no questions; your itinerary stays between you and your driver.
- Male drivers as standard; every driver has completed our Kerestir route briefing.

About 225 km; around 2.5 to 3 hours by car via the M3 motorway, depending on traffic.
Can you pick us up at Budapest Airport?
Yes. Your driver waits at arrivals with a name sign; give us your flight number and we adjust to your actual landing time.
Do you travel on Shabbos or Yom Tov?
No. We schedule around Shabbos and Yom Tov and plan a margin for Friday arrivals.
Can we stop in Ujhel, Liska or Mád on the way?
Yes: choose the Full Day package or ask for a custom route on WhatsApp.
Can you pick us up in Košice, Debrecen or Vienna?
On request. Košice airport is close to Kerestir; Vienna is a long transfer. Ask us on WhatsApp and we quote a fixed price.
How many people fit in one car?
Up to 3 in the E-Class, up to 6 in the V-Class. For larger groups we coordinate several V-Class vans.
Is the price really fixed?
Yes. The price you receive in writing includes tolls, vignette, parking and taxes. Extra hours or extra stops are added only if you ask for them, at the rates stated in your quote.
How do we pay?

What about cancellation?
Our cancellation terms are set out in the Terms and repeated in your written confirmation before you travel.
Can we book for the yahrzeit week?
Yes, and please do it early. In 2027 the yahrzeit of Reb Shayele (3 Iyar) begins on the evening of Sunday, May 9 and continues on Monday, May 10; the week before is fully booked in the region.
